BART PRESS RELEASE: El Cerrito Plaza BART Station development: In-person open house on July 20 07/11/2022 We are excited to host a community open house on Wednesday, July 20 at the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station from 4:00-6:30 PM, hosted by the development team of Holliday Development and Related California. The team will unveil their updated plans for transit-oriented development (TOD), including roughly 780 mixed-income homes, that will transform the station’s parking lots. These homes will be located so that future residents will find riding transit, walking, and biking more convenient than driving. The city is also considering locating the new El Cerrito library at the station. The team is seeking your feedback on these updated development concepts.
